Self-help, psychology and spiritual guides

Self-help had the most entries of any group on the agency's Published Works page. Scott MacMillan's The Big Game: 10 Strategies for Winning at Life was published by Llewellyn in June 2003 and then sold abroad; the agency's pages name EPP Books in Ghana, a French edition from Editions LaBussiere, Dilya in Russia, Gramedia in Indonesia, Europa-America in Portugal and Intermedio Editores for a Spanish edition. Thomas W. Foster's Mind Secrets and Your Mind Power Unleashed both carried ISBNs. Barry Thomsen's When the Shit Hits the Fan, a guide to keeping a small business alive, listed a November 2007 publication date.

The rest of the group is more personal. C. Andrew Martin's Through the Mirror of My Mind was a caregiver's memoir of five years looking after a partner living with HIV. Kristie Klemme's Brother's Keeper dealt with forgiving herself for a childhood accident that killed her younger brother. Bettina Snyder's When Teen Drug Use Comes Home was written for parents. Elliott Stephenson's Casino Gambling set out the house percentage of every common game. Roger Burbridge's Secrets in the Fields, a suspense story with a New Age framing published by CrossTIME, sits here because the agency filed it that way.

Questions

Why does The Big Game have three listings?

The agency kept one page for the Llewellyn edition and two for foreign editions, one of them specific to the French translation. The archive keeps all three pages because each existed at its own address on the original site.

Are these books still in print?

The archive does not track that. It records only what the agency's site said about each book at the time of the capture, including any ISBN or publisher the agency named.
