About the author

Karen LaPuma, author of Awakening Female Power: The Way of the Goddess Warrior, has been an intuitive, spiritual and metaphysical counselor since 1979. She is an inspirational speaker and storyteller with an empowering message. Like the prototypical hero she writes about, she shows how to understand the nature of making effective changes.

An experienced teacher of classes and seminars and a major presenter at International Conferences, she has initiated groups for professional women, and has orchestrated symposiums combining presentation by speakers with live entertainment.

Her unusual ability to merge with nature and identify with the archetypal gods and goddesses gives her a first hand experience of Divinity. she has been graced to enter into that place where being alone in deep silence transcends reality.

In the early nineties when she published, publicized and marketed her first book, she created a newsletter called "Self-Growth," which was later renamed "SoulSource Resource." Her work as a certified hypnotherapist, Reiki Master and hands-on healer add to her rich background.
