By Executive Order by Larry Kelter
FBI agent Hal Niecro investigates a murder and must work with a Mossad agent as the US and Israel pursue the narcotics trade, with the mob in the frame.
About the book
Two governments - one objective - stop the flow of narcotics - by any means possible. America and Israel, old allies in a new war. To win this one, they must sell their souls! FBI agent, Hal Niecro, investigates the bizarre murder of Rachel Rabin and must serve as diplomatic liaison to Ben Elias, a Mossad Agent, and the Israelis. To this, add an Arab assassin, a terrorist conspiracy, and U.S. government interference. One last complication, Niecro's chief suspect is the head of organized crime in New York.
The coroner finds a surgical scar on an unidentified torso, revealing a breast implant. It bears a serial number, which allows him to identify Rachel's mutilated body.
Don Gaetano De Marco sends Carlo Maltisse to New York to arrange for the shipment of weapons through New York's shipping ports to the Middle East. A deal is struck with Frank "The Enforcer" Di Simone, don of all the New York crime families.
Niecro and his partner, Deloitte, visit Transglobal, Rachel's former employer.
They meet Mr. Emile, the proprietor. Emile's dubious story makes him a prime suspect. Deloitte meets Loraine Franco, Emile's receptionist. She's street smart and sexy.
FBI agent, Ambler covers the arrival of el Amassarad, a notorious assassin, in New York. Ambler's and Niecro's cases seem to share many troubling elements.
Loraine Franco's testimony places mobsters at Transglobal on the day of Rachel's disappearance. She ID's DI Simone and his lieutenant, Linuzzi from mug shots.
Linuzzi's clumsiness is responsible for the discovery of Rachel's body. It's his job to clean up the mess. He sets a trap for Deloitte, but Linuzzi is murdered instead.
Malaina, The Enforcer's daughter is on her way off the family compound when she strikes a cyclist at the gateway to the estate. The injured man is taken inside.
Di Simone assembles the other crime families to determine Linuzzi's murderer.
Furious over Linuzzi's murder, he throws the injured cyclist out of his home and humiliates Malaina. Later that evening, a commando enters his home, murdering him.
De Marco and his wife, Caroline attend Di Simone's funeral. De Marco is here to claim New York for himself as promised by Avril Gains and the President's Intelligence Oversight Board. De Marco has bartered Florida for New York. The deal will humble the Colombians and choke the pipeline of drugs into the U.S. De Marco is responsible for the deaths of Linuzzi and Di Simone. The assassin, el Amassarad, was provided by the IOB. However, Ari Rabin, Rachel's brother, a Mossad agent, carried out the executions. Rabin was substituted for Amassarad, who was imprisoned by the Israeli's.
Amassarad escapes, but the Israelis have seized his assets. He arrives in the Bahamas to collect a cash payoff for the assassinations he never completed.
Caroline sees the handsome Amassarad in the Bahamas and makes her move. De Marco's soldier preempts the tryst. De Marco takes them out to sea. His unfaithful wife is murdered, but the FBI and Mossad, arrive before he can finish Amassarad.
De Marco's boat and two FBI helicopters are caught in a violent squall. Amassarad falls overboard and Ari jumps in to complete the job. The sea is about to claim them both when Niecro shimmies down the helicopter's anchor line and saves Ari. He watches as a fierce mako takes Amassarad in its lethal jaws and carries him away to the murky depths.
