The Golgotha Project by Eric Wallin

Set in the early twenty-first century after a market collapse, the story spans three cities, including plague-stricken Philadelphia and a Chicago rally that announces a new world order, with imagery from Revelation.

About the book

And another portent appeared in heaven; behold a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems upon his heads. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth.

Revelation 12:3,4

Children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that antichrist is coming...

1 John 2: 18

The Golgotha Project happens at the early part of the twenty-first century as earth's economic ruin comes on the heels of the longest and most spectacular bull market in history. It is set in three cities. The first is Philadelphia, city of brotherly love, become a city of the damned for those who've contracted the plague that has massacred a fifth of the world's population. The second city, Chicago, is the host of the Earth First rally where the United Nation's plans for the new world order are set forth and the United States sunk to colonial status once again. Further, it is the site Father Micah O'Halloran's crucifixion, an event that will unmask the Antichrist to a Chicago detective and send him half a world away to the dusty mountain stronghold of Tel-Megiddo, called Armageddon. Jerusalem, the third city, is the crossroads of the ages, the dais of the throne of the eternal power, and the tinder for the end of the world.

In nineteen eighty-four, Suante Paabo extracted DNA from a two thousand five-hundred year-old mummy. That same year Allen C. Wilson sequenced the DNA of an extinct species. C29 H49 O22 N9 P3 , the elements of DNA, are the stuff genes are made of and DNA is the database of creation. It has been mapped and can be altered. The genes of one entity can indwell another and the indwelt, reborn. Shortly after the dawn of the millennium, the president of the European Union and the richest man in the world plundered the soil beneath Jerusalem's Holy Sepulcher looking for the unique DNA signature of one man and found it. Meanwhile, at the edge of the universe, apocalyptic cavalries raced toward earth, destroying the galaxies along the way.
